Start with your intention
Describe your need in your own words. The intended service helps your agent connect that need with what businesses say they can provide, without requiring you to know the right category first.
Explore customer-led discovery
Your intent. Your agent. Your choice.
Express what you want accomplished, find businesses capable of helping, and use relevant evidence to choose with confidence, while retaining control over your intention and your decision.
Begin with what matters to you
Sometimes you know exactly what you want to buy. Sometimes you only know the problem: there's water beneath the dishwasher, and you need help. Finding names is only the beginning. You still need to know who fits your situation and what evidence can help you choose.

Explore customer-led discoverySee why an offering fits your requirements, then consider relevant evidence of conduct and commitments. Customers and merchants each retain the choice of whether to proceed.
Explore matching and simulated reputationYour intention and constraints guide the journey. Businesses remain responsible for the information they publish. Shared meaning connects independent participants so your agent can help you make an informed decision.
Read about the shared foundationOur aim is less wasted effort and a clearer basis for trust. The wider service and distributed network are being developed; the demo below lets you explore a bounded example today. The dishwasher story illustrates that direction and is not a supported demo request.
The thinking behind the project
Much of the thinking behind Intent Registry is based on Richard Reukema's book The Empowered Customer: customers retain control, participation begins with consent, and the people who create value can share in it through a cooperative model.
Intent Registry explores how those principles can shape discovery and relationships between customers and businesses. Cooperative revenue participation is part of the intended model, with commercial terms still to be defined.

Try a television or gardening-tool request, review how it is understood, and see why fictional merchant offers fit. You can then explore simulated purchase commitments and reciprocal reviews.
This is a fictional demonstration, not a live marketplace. It uses predefined examples; no real purchase, payment, or service booking is made.
This deliberately small catalogue contains four fictional merchants per category. Partial matches are possible; this is not a complete picture of available shopping options.
